It has been revealed that Priyanka, the main accused in this murder case, killed her husband Sachin. Then when her maid came home, Priyanka asked her to make curried rice and 16 rotis. The police guess that Priyanka had done this so that no one would suspect that something untoward had happened in that house. During this time he hid Sachin’s body in the room itself. That means, from the very beginning, Priyanka was throwing dust in everyone’s eyes in a very clever manner. Not only this, Priyanka asked her neighbor for her mobile phone twice on the same day and talked to her father. His father is Bijendra Rawat, President of Collectorate Bar Association. At present Priyanka is absconding. The police is searching for him.
The surprising thing in this case is that even after the postmortem of the body of bank manager Sachin, it took four days for the murder case to be registered. Sachin’s family members allege that the police negligence gave full opportunity to the accused Priyanka to escape. According to ‘Crime Tak’, on October 12, around 5 pm, the police had received information about Sachin’s suicide.
According to initial investigation, there were injury and burn marks on Sachin’s body. There were some marks on the neck also. The post mortem report revealed that it was a case of murder. Police registered a case against three people in connection with the murder of bank manager Sachin Upadhyay in Ram Raghu Exotica Colony, Tajganj. In this, a case was registered against the wife, her brother and father-in-law on the complaint of the bank manager’s father. On Friday, the police sent Krishna Rawat, father-in-law of the bank manager and son of Collectorate Bar Association President Brijendra Rawat, to jail. Meanwhile, Priyanka is still absconding.
Hid the dead body for 17 hours
According to the postmortem report, Sachin Upadhyay was murdered on the night of 11 October and the police received information at 5 pm on 12 October. That means the dead body was kept hidden for about 17 hours. Meanwhile, Sachin’s family members allege that if CCTV had not been installed in the area, even Sachin’s dead body would have gone missing. Since Priyanka knew that CCTV was installed in the locality, she did not have the courage to make her body disappear.
After several hours of planning and then erasing evidence from the spot, Priyanka had fabricated the story of Sachin’s suicide. According to Sachin’s father, Priyanka had locked the room where the body was hidden after the murder. Not only this, the first person to reach the crime scene was Priyanka’s brother who had come home in the evening. Apart from this, he has also expressed suspicion against Sachin’s father-in-law for his involvement in the murder.
Sachin was also burnt before being killed
According to the postmortem report, Sachin was murdered by strangulation. But before being killed, he was also burnt with a press. Police have arrested Sachin’s brother-in-law in this connection but Priyanka is missing.
