It is being told that when people were going to immerse the idol late in the evening, a woman threw gulal (color) on a police inspector on duty. The inspector was so enraged by the throwing of gulal that he hurled abuses at the women. People got angry at the Inspector due to the incident of abuse.

Angry women and men took the idol to the local police station Kaptanganj. People complained about the inspector to higher authorities and demanded action against him. While handling the situation, the station in-charge tried to convince them. After a long time, they took the idol and left for immersion.

Actually, the entire matter is of Kaptanganj police station area. Where the idol immersion program was going on till late evening on Tuesday. During this time, the idol of Lahilwara village also came for immersion. In which hundreds of women and men devotees were included. Then a woman threw color on an inspector.

It is alleged that the inspector, angry at the color being thrown, started abusing the women. Due to which the angry people reached the police station with the tractor-trolley along with the idol. As soon as the Police Station Head and Naib Tehsildar Kaptanganj got wind of the matter, they immediately reached the police station. There was an uproar at the police station for a long time. However, later after persuasion by SO Kaptanganj, the organizers took the idol and left for Pandul Ghat for immersion.
