Uttar Pradesh: Acharya Pramod Krishnam’s big statement, said – ‘Can’t defeat BJP in UP without including Mayawati in INDIA’
Senior Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam on Wednesday made a big claim about BSP chief Mayawati. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cannot be defeated in Uttar Pradesh without including Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati in the alliance of opposition parties ‘India’.
Krishnam said, ‘I think that Mayawati is such a leader in Uttar Pradesh who is capable of influencing 18 to 22 percent votes. If ‘India’ alliance is formed without Behenji, then there is no justification in calling it ‘Grand Alliance’.
Sisterhood should also join ‘India’ alliance: Pramod
He said, ‘If Bharatiya Janata Party has to be defeated, then along with Samajwadi Party, Rashtriya Lok Dal and Congress, sisterhood should also join the ‘India’ alliance. For this I am inviting her.’ The Congress leader said, ‘If Behenji does not come into this alliance, PM Modi cannot be defeated. I believe that it is not possible to defeat BJP in Uttar Pradesh without taking Mayawati along.’ Krishnam had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Lucknow on a Congress ticket, but lost to BJP’s Rajnath Singh.
