British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a phone call on Friday and reiterated his country’s support for Kiev in its ongoing conflict with Russia. He said Britain’s unwavering support would continue and Russian President Vladimir Putin would fail.
“Had a good conversation this morning with President Zelensky on the latest military situation and the importance of getting grain out of Ukrainian ports,” Sunak wrote in a post on Twitter. Our support for Ukraine and the defense of its freedom is unwavering. Earlier this week I had said – Putin will fail.
