Bihar / Jamui: Arrested for being in love with each other, the girls ran away from home and got married, now the police will present them in the court.

A case of gay marriage has come to light from Jamui, Bihar. Here two girls have got married after swearing to live together. The matter came to light when both the girls, who had earlier absconded from home, reached Jamui railway station. Seeing these, the passengers informed the Jamui Railway Police. On receiving the information, the Railway Police interrogated both the girls and came to know about the matter. However, a case of absconding of both the girls was also filed by the family members in Lakshmipur police station. After the Railway Police informed Lakshmipur police station about this, on Friday morning the police of Lakshmipur police station left with both the girls.
We met at a wedding one and a half years ago
Information has been received that one of the girls is Nisha Kumari, 18 year old daughter of Ashok Tanti, resident of Digghi village of Lakshmipur police station area. Whereas the second girl is Kumkum Kumari alias Komal Kumari, 20 year old daughter of Kameshwar Tanti, resident of Kusanda village of Halsi police station area of Lakhisarai. It is said that one and a half years ago, the maternal uncle’s son of Kumkum Kumari alias Komal Kumari, resident of Kusunda village of Lakhisarai district, was married in Diggi village of Lakshmipur. It was during this time that both the girls met. Gradually this meeting turned into friendship and then deep love developed between the two.
Same sex marriage organized in temple
The relationship between the two girls became so strong that they decided to make each other their life partners. When the girls first expressed their intentions to the family, the family members advised them not to act against the society and asked them to forget each other. But the friendship became so deep that after becoming adults, both of them ran away from home and went to Patna after having a gay marriage in a temple in Jamui. Here, the family members of Nisha Kumari, resident of Digghi village, filed a case of kidnapping of the girl in Lakshmipur police station.
Bihar Police will present both of them in court
After the case of kidnapping of the girl was registered, the police was busy searching for both the girls. Due to increasing police presence, both the girls reached Jamui railway station from Patna. Then both of them accepted the fact that they were children and got married as per their own wish. However, the police of Lakshmipur police station is thoroughly interrogating both of them. Both will be presented in the court after completing the paperwork. Then after the order of the court, the police will take further action.
