Global Investors Summit: 6 thousand acre land bank ready in four districts, investment will also happen in hilly districts, CM Dhami will hold meeting with District Magistrates

For investment in the state, the Uttarakhand government has prepared 6 thousand acres of land bank in four districts of the state, so that more and more industries can be brought here. However, at present industries are established only in the plain districts of the state. Now the government is going to make efforts in this regard so that industries can be established in the hilly districts of the state also. There are possibilities of setting up industries related to tourism, adventure, tourism and health wellness mainly in the hilly areas of the state. In such a situation, now CM Dhami is going to hold a meeting with all the District Magistrates soon.

Dhami government has got MoUs worth Rs 69,300 crore signed

Let us tell you that regarding the Global Investors Summit, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Cabinet Ministers are also continuously talking to the investors and getting MoUs signed for investment in Uttarakhand. However, till now the government has signed MoUs worth Rs 69,300 crore against the target of Rs 2.5 lakh crore.

Land banks available for investors in four districts

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that land banks are available for investors in four districts, but the industries which will go to the mountains will be in the field of tourism, adventure tourism and health wellness. All of them will be given priority. He said that the state government is trying to establish industries not only in four districts but also in the mountains. A meeting will soon be held with District Magistrates in this regard. However, earlier too a proposal has been sent to the District Magistrates to provide information about the possibilities available in their districts.

People showed interest in adventure and tourism

The Chief Minister said that there is special focus on tourism, wellness and health sectors in the industry. Apart from this, many people have shown interest in working in adventure and tourism. Apart from this, in the field of health, people want to come here for treatment of diseases like cancer. Not only this, pharma is also a big sector and big companies are already working in the field of automobile. Besides, the old companies which are running also want to expand their companies. However, changes have also been made in the rules for investment.
