Uttarakhand: CM Dhami laid the foundation stone of administrative buildings of police lines, inaugurated Upwa Diwali fair

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of administrative buildings, barracks and residential buildings of Police Line worth Rs 53.43 crore in Dehradun Police Line. CM Dhami inaugurated the administrative building of Police Line, Police Line and IRB barracks built at a cost of Rs 13.14 crore. Also laid the foundation stone of all categories of residential buildings of Police Line, Sardar Patel Bhawan, Dhaurankhas and Police Colony, Kishanpur Dehradun costing Rs 40.29 crore. Apart from this, the foundation stone of administrative building, barrack, guard room of Police Line Almora and administrative building and quarter guard building of Police Line Chamoli was also laid online.
During this, CM Dhami said that the state government is working for the welfare of police employees and to provide their residential and non-residential facilities. Therefore, a provision of Rs 100 crore will be made in the next three years for the construction of residential and non-residential buildings of police. Along with this, the government will give as much budget as it can from financial resources in future. Will also try to provide budget to the police department through central schemes.
CM said that as per the vision of PM Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand Police is continuously working to make it a modern and smart police. In such a situation, police personnel and officers will also cooperate in fulfilling this resolution of the government. CM Dhami said that apart from maintaining law and order, police plays a big role in conducting Chardham Yatra, Kanwar Yatra and other yatras.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Upva Diwali Fair after inaugurating all the works of the Police Line and laying the foundation stone. Also, while observing the stalls set up in the fair, the CM said that today women are becoming self-reliant. The government led by PM Narendra Modi is working to make women empowered and self-reliant in every field. In the same sequence, the state government is also working in the interest of women by forming Lakhpati Didi Yojana, Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, tap water to every house, construction of toilets, special fund for women self-help groups.
