PCB leaked Babar Azam’s private messages, also shown on TV channel

Looks like nothing is going right for Pakistan cricket. Neither inside the field nor outside it. You are aware of the story inside the field. And, the latest incident that has happened outside the field is that PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf has leaked the message of Babar Azam during a TV interview. The head of Pakistan Cricket Board did this while responding to Rashid Latif’s allegations against him.

Now the question is what are the allegations against Rashid Latif? So, according to the former Pakistan wicketkeeper, when Babar Azam tried to talk to Zaka Ashraf through calls and messages, he did not respond. Zaka Ashraf expressed his views on this in an interview given to a local news channel. Refuting Rashid Latif’s allegations against him, he said that Babar did not try to contact him directly.

PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf leaked Babar’s messages

PCB Chief said that according to Latif, I did not pick up Babar’s call. But the truth is that Babar did not call him. The team captain anyway talks to the director or COO. Meaning, according to Ashraf, why would Babar call him?

Ashraf admitted that he did not talk to Babar at all. After this he also shared a long list of WhatsApp messages with the interviewer, which was the entire conversation between Babar and PCB COO Salman Nasir. The purpose behind Jaka doing this was to tell that Babar did not call or message him.

What Was it in Babar Azam’s private message?

Now the question is, what was there in the WhatsApp messages leaked by Zaka Ashraf, which reveals this? So there was a message from PCB COO Salman Nasir, through which he asks Babar that a thing is going on in TV and social media that you had called Zaka Ashraf, to which he did not answer. Did you really call recently? On this Babar replied that he did not make any such call to the PCB Chairman.

Is Babar aware of the message being leaked?

However, it is not yet clear whether Babar is aware that his private messages have been shown live on TV. Taking the whole issue seriously, former Pakistani cricketer Azhar Ali has said that it should be investigated whether the PCB chief or the program people had told Babar that his messages were being shown on live TV.

The presenter of the show realized his mistake, apologized

However, after the show, presenter Wasim Badami shared a video on social media, in which he is seen admitting that he made a mistake in leaking Babar’s message.
