After a dispute over vacating their house in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a couple killed the landlady and fled the house. A couple has been arrested for allegedly murdering their landlady’s wife, police said on Saturday. He told that the accused couple lived in Anand Vihar Colony of Kankarkheda area. The couple lived in the same building with the landlord’s family. SP Piyush Kumar Singh said that Nikhil and his wife Aarti allegedly murdered 40-year-old Ritu (landlord’s wife) on Thursday. At that time her husband Ram Kumar was not present in the house.
The SP said that the accused absconded after the incident and Ritu’s body was recovered from the house. He said the police traced the couple’s whereabouts and arrested them on Friday evening. According to the police, the landlord had a dispute with the accused tenant regarding vacating the house.
Murder for demanding wages
Let us tell you that just two days ago in Meerut, a person was murdered and his body was hanged from a tree for demanding money for the work. Indu Shekhar, who worked as a mason, was first shot by the miscreants and then his body was hanged on a tree. Both the hands of the dead body were tied.
According to the information, he had some outstanding due to a transaction from a village person and due to this dispute, he was shot. This incident took place in Kila Parikshitgarh police station area. Indu Shekhar was a resident of an ordinary village in Incholi police station area.
Deceased Indu Shekhar was working as a mason at Vijaypal Singh’s house for the last one year. It is being told that Indu Shekhar had outstanding money, regarding which she often had disputes with Vijaypal. After that Indu Shekhar’s body was found hanging from a tree in the field.
