Uttarakhand: Senior Congress leader Dhirendra Pratap expressed grief over the demise of Mangalore BSP MLA Sarbat Karim Ansari.

Senior Vice President of Uttarakhand Congress and former minister Dhirendra Pratap has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Bahujan Samaj Party MLA and old Congress colleague Sarwat Karim Ansari, elected from Mangalore. In a statement issued today, Dhirendra Pratap described Sarbat Karim Ansari as a very wonderful person and said that although he may have changed the party, he had a very pure heart and he always maintained his friendship even after changing parties.
He said that he was one of the very popular leaders of Mangalore and had huge support from the public. He said that even when he was in Congress, he used to work very dedicatedly for the party, due to party compulsion he had to leave the party, but of course he was also a brilliant MLA and did many things for the development of Mangalore.
Expressing deep grief over his demise, Dhirendra Pratap has said that Uttarakhand has lost a very worthy son in his demise.
