Uttarakhand: Reshuffle in police department, IPS Amit Sinha becomes Special Principal Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare
The government has changed the assignments of two IPS officers of Uttarakhand Police. Additional Director General of Police Amit Sinha has been made Special Principal Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare. He will also hold the charge of Additional Director General of Police, Administration.
Till now the charge of Special Principal Secretary Sports and Youth Welfare was with IPS Abhinav Kumar. At the same time, Abhinav Kumar has not been given any new post. Joint Secretary Shyam Singh has issued orders for this on Tuesday.
