Fertilizer bags with PM Modi’s photo found; Godown officials said – goods before the code of conduct; given to the farmer

Sacks of fertilizer with photos of PM Narendra Modi were kept in the godown located in the old vegetable market at Tanki intersection in Shajapur. After complaining about this to the Election Commission, the FST team reached the spot and prepared the Panchnama.

Congress accused of violation of code of conduct

Congress workers have protested after seeing the picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi pasted on the sacks of fertilizer that came for distribution to farmers at the railway warehouse in Sagar. Calling it a blatant violation of the Model Code of Conduct, he has demanded action from the Chief Electoral Officer. A letter has also been written by Congress for this.

In the letter he wrote that there is a rack of DAP fertilizer installed at the railway goods warehouse in Sagar. The photo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is printed on these fertilizer sacks. These fertilizer bags are being supplied to Deori, Kesli, Gaurjhamar and Sagar of Sagar district and Tikamgarh and Chhatarpur districts. Through this act, a conspiracy is being hatched to give electoral advantage to BJP in the state assembly elections by attracting Annadata farmers in the name of the Prime Minister and getting them to vote in favor of BJP.

The Congress also complained that the central government program was being misused by the BJP on the occasion of elections. Implementing government programs along with personal campaigning during assembly elections is against the model code of conduct. Therefore, you are requested to immediately stop the distribution of these fertilizer bags for a fair and transparent election process and take them under the custody of the Election Commission and take action against the concerned for violation of the code of conduct.
