Supreme Court has expressed concern
The AAP MP had approached the Supreme Court against the suspension. A hearing regarding this was also held on Monday. Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, who was conducting the hearing, had said that we should be very careful not to exclude those voices from Parliament. Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra were also present with him.
During that time too, the court had asked Attorney General R Venkataramani whether his suspension would be canceled if the MP apologized. The Supreme Court had asked whether we will have to hear this matter. The court said that the suspension of the MP is only for one session.
