Income Tax Department raid on country’s biggest liquor businessman, raids in many states

Income tax raids are being conducted on the locations of major liquor traders associated with Madhya Pradesh and the country. This action of the Income Tax Department is being taken at more than 50 locations from Madhya Pradesh to Chhattisgarh and other states. Political reasons are also believed to be behind this. Businessmen who were once close to BJP leaders are now said to be close to other governments. After deteriorating relations in Madhya Pradesh, he rapidly expanded his business to other states. The government had also closed a distillery of a businessman in Madhya Pradesh.

Action at more than 50 locations in five states
Income Tax Department’s search action is going on at 50 locations of the company in five states. Among these, raids started this morning on the group’s hideouts in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore and Raisen in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, the Income Tax Department has also started action against the company’s locations in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Cuttack and Bengaluru. Action is going on at all the locations with the Central Police Force from 6 am today. Income tax officers from Raipur, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi have also been involved.
