Uttarakhand: CM Dhami did a road show in Mumbai, signed MoUs worth ₹ 30200 crore with various industry groups, Dhami met Devendra Fadnavis

The state government is not only talking to investors regarding the Global Investors Summit in Uttarakhand. Rather, it is inviting industrialists to come to the summit by signing MoUs for investment in Uttarakhand. In this series, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami participated in a road show in Mumbai and held a meeting with various industry groups. He also invited all the investors for the Investor Summit. At the same time, CM Dhami signed MoUs worth Rs 30,200 crore in Mumbai between industrial groups of various sectors.

In Mumbai, CM Dhami discussed the investment possibilities in Uttarakhand with investors. The industry groups with which MoUs (Memorandum of Understanding) have been signed include Imagica (Theme Park), Atmantan (Resort), ACME (Solar Cell Manufacturing), CTRLs (Data Centres) Perfetti (Renewable Energy), Losung America ( IT), Chroma Ator, Clean Max Enviro (renewable energy), Sinus (health care). Apart from this, talks have also taken place with some other firms. Which includes JSW Sports, Godrej Chemicals, Astar Bhojan, V Arjun Logistics Park.

Agreements signed so far

At the same time, under the leadership of CM Dhami, 4 international road shows have been conducted in foreign countries (London, Birmingham, Abu Dhabi, Dubai) regarding the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit. Whereas, road shows have been held in Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Mumbai in the country. In fact, an agreement has been signed to invest Rs 26,575 crore in Delhi on 14 September and 4 October, Rs 12,500 crore in Britain on 26 and 27 September, and Rs 15,475 crore in UAE on 17 and 18 October.

Apart from this, agreement has been signed on investment proposal of Rs 10,150 crore in Chennai on 26 October, Rs 4,600 crore in Bengaluru on 28 October and Rs 24 thousand crore in Ahmedabad on 1 November. In this series, MOUs worth Rs 30,200 crore were signed during the road show held in Mumbai. Till now, Uttarakhand government has signed MoUs with many companies in tourism hospitality sector, AYUSH wellness sector, manufacturing sector, pharma sector, food processing, real estate-infra, pumped storage sector, green and renewable energy and automobile sector.

At the same time, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami said that Mumbai is not only the economic capital of the country, but is also a major part of the unique story of India’s development. While Mumbai is the economic capital of the country, Uttarakhand is the spiritual capital of the country. Therefore, mutual coordination and partnership between these two states is necessary. CM Dhami said that Maharashtra, especially Mumbai and Uttarakhand complement each other. While modern technology and managerial skills are essential for the development of any nation, spiritual strength and peace are also extremely essential.

CM Dhami said that Uttarakhand has set a target of doubling its GSDP in the next 5 years, under which Strong Uttarakhand Mission has also been started. The Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023 to be held on 8 and 9 December in Dehradun is also a part of this mission. At the same time, CM Dhami also met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
