Bihar / Madhepura: Mother could not bear the death of her son, jumped on the burning pyre; Reached the crematorium in the dark of night

In Singheshwar police station area of Madhepura district of Bihar, a mother could not bear the separation of her son and jumped into his burning pyre. Although the villagers showed promptness and saved her, she got badly burnt. The matter is of Shivdayalpur situated in Sukhasan Panchayat. Here on Monday night, Sikendra Yadav’s son Karan committed suicide by hanging himself around his neck for some reason. This incident created an uproar on Tuesday morning. Everyone returned after cremating the dead body in the afternoon. Even before the body was completely burnt, Karan’s mother somehow escaped from the house and reached the cremation ground. Meanwhile, however, some people in the village saw him and they also followed him.

The woman saw her son’s burning pyre on the ghat and jumped into the pyre itself. The villagers showed promptness and pulled him out of the pyre with great effort. After this, they immediately took him to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. Doctors say that the woman has suffered more than 60 percent burns and her condition is critical. The police are now investigating the entire matter.
