Madhya Pradesh: Rat ‘arrested’ for swallowing liquor here! Police will now present in court

Police in Madhya Pradesh have ‘arrested’ a rat for emptying liquor bottles. This shocking incident has come to light from Chhindwara district of the state, where 60 bottles of liquor confiscated and kept in a police station were emptied by rats. Police say that after seizing the illegal liquor packed in plastic bottles, they kept it in the store room of the police station, but rats had emptied 60 of them. In this case, the police have ‘arrested’ a rat and now he will be produced in the court.

Police made many ‘serious’ allegations against rats

Police say that the police station building is very old, where rats are often seen roaming. He says that sometimes these rats even destroy records by gnawing on them. The police claimed to have ‘arrested’ one of the ‘accused’ rats and said he would be produced before the court as evidence. However, the police are yet to confirm how many rats were involved in the liquor party. The case in which the liquor bottles were seized is still pending in the court.

Rats had swallowed thousands of liters of liquor in UP

Now the police have to present the seized liquor in the court, in such a situation they are having to struggle to present their side. Let us tell you that this is not the first time that rats have been accused of drinking alcohol in the police station. Earlier, when the police had narrated a similar incident in Shajapur district court, the judge and the entire court staff had laughed. In UP too, in 2018, more than 1,000 liters of seized liquor kept in the warehouse of Cantonment Police Station in Bareilly went missing. In that case also, the police had accused the rats of swallowing the liquor.
