Uttarakhand: On the State Foundation Day, CM Dhami paid tribute to the martyred agitators.

Uttarakhand state turns 23 today. Uttarakhand is now entering its 24th year. Uttarakhand state was formed on 9 November 2000. Therefore, every year on the occasion of State Foundation Day, programs are organized on a large scale across the state. We also salute the state agitators who sacrificed their lives for the demand of a separate hill state.

CM Dhami paid tribute to the martyred agitators

Every year on the State Foundation Day, a program is organized at the Martyr Memorial in Dehradun. In this sequence, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt reached the Martyr Memorial in Dehradun. Tributes were paid to the martyrs of the state agitators there. On this occasion, along with BJP leaders and workers, the general public also reached the Martyr Memorial to pay tribute to the martyred agitators of Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand state got after a lot of struggle

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, who came to pay tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of State Foundation Day, said that the state of Uttarakhand was achieved after a big struggle. In such a situation, the concept regarding which a separate state was demanded. The government is committed to fulfilling that concept. BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said that the President has reached Dehradun for the first time on the occasion of State Foundation Day. The President has participated in the parade. The select committee formed for 10 percent horizontal reservation for the agitators will also submit its report to the Assembly Speaker today.

42 agitators were martyred for the state

Uttarakhand state agitators have played a big role in the formation of Uttarakhand state. In fact, a hilly state separate from Uttar Pradesh was created after a lot of struggle. 42 agitators have also given their martyrdom for a separate state. Mainly the concept of creating a separate hill state was so that the water, forests and youth of the state could be utilized in a better way. Also, the state can develop according to its geographical conditions. However, the concepts with which the demand for a separate state was raised have not yet been fulfilled.
