Union Home Minister Amit Shah wished Dhanteras, inaugurated five schemes across the country

Union Home Minister Amit Shah participated in the Raising Day Parade of ITBP organized in Dehradun today. During this, first of all he wished the people of the country a happy Dhanteras and Diwali. At the same time, he inaugurated five schemes across the country. He said that the Modi government is ready to fulfill every need of the soldiers. Today we have young people so we can sleep peacefully.

These schemes were launched

 

  • Remote inauguration of Self Energy Building at an altitude of 17000 feet in Ladakh.
  • Inauguration of 10 barracks including Matali Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh Basar, Rangamati Assam, Recruit Training Center Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Logistics drone inaugurated. It will be used at forward posts. This drone can fly up to 14000 feet. This will help in delivering vegetables and supplies. Will also be able to transport medicines.
  • Release of e-souvenir. It mentions the achievements of ITBP.
  • Release of martyr souvenir. This souvenir will tell about the bravery of the martyrs.

On the occasion of the foundation day of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, a program was organized at the ITBP Headquarters in Dehradun to mark the 62nd foundation day. The special thing in this program was that Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself participated in it. Union Minister Amit Shah took the salute and also inspected the parade.

Not only in ITBP but in any other force, women had not yet participated in the cavalry parade. But for the first time, a women horse riding contingent was seen in the parade organized in Dehradun on the foundation day of ITBP. Let us tell you that Indo-Tibetan Border Police is an Indian paramilitary force. It was established on 24 October 1962 to protect the northern borders of the country after the war between India and China. Initially ITBP was formed with only four battalions. After this, the scope of work of ITBP was increased with time.

During the program, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that best wishes to everyone on the 62nd annual parade of ITBP today. Also welcome the first village of India and people of Uttarakhand in this program. While wishing Diwali to the countrymen, Amit Shah said that he wishes the country to reach greater heights. On the festival of Diwali, when a common citizen lights a lamp in his home to wish for happiness and prosperity, then a lamp should also be lit for the soldiers deployed on the border.

Praised ITBP

The Union Home Minister said that ITBP has done the work of securing the inaccessible borders of India. Many martyrs have carried forward this tradition of bravery. ITBP, which started with 7 vehicles, is moving forward today with 60 vehicles. He said that 15 kg of medicines and food items have been transported to the borders simultaneously through drones. Soon 4 more battalions of ITBP will be deployed on the border. ITBP has the most difficult areas in border security. Where there is less oxygen, snowfall occurs. The temperature goes up to -45 degrees. Despite this, ITBP has won many medals till now.

Told the goal of 2047

Amit Shah said that before 2014, Rs 4000 crore was spent annually on the China border. Whereas after 2014, Rs 12,340 crore is being spent on the border. Also, Amit Shah gave assurance to the soldiers and said that they should worry about the borders of the country. The Government of India will take care of your family. The target of 2047 has been set for India to be strong in every field in the world and for India to lead the world everywhere.

ITBP dedicated to the security of the country

ITBP DG Anish Dayal Singh said that earlier ITBP had 180 posts. These have now been increased to 195. 500 Nari Shakti have been deployed at the border posts. Work is being done in India’s first village under the Vibrant Village Programme. ITBP is also protecting the Indian Embassy in Afghanistan. Ayushman cards of 99 personnel have been made. ITBP was honored for the top performing organization in the month of May. The DG also said that ITBP will remain dedicated to its basic mantra.

Amit Shah reached Dehradun on Thursday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Dehradun late Thursday evening. CM Dhami and his cabinet members welcomed Amit Shah at the airport. Union Home Minister Amit Shah rested for the night in the guest house of ITBP Tiger Mess, 23rd Corps, Seemadwar.
