Delhi: Manish Sisodia became emotional after hugging his sick wife, CM Kejriwal said – this picture is very painful
Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who is in jail in the alleged liquor scam case in Delhi, reached his home on Saturday to meet his ailing wife Seema. A Delhi court on Friday had allowed him to meet his wife between 10 am and 5 pm in the presence of security. Sisodia along with the policemen reached his house on Mathura Road in the jail van at around 10 am and returned to the jail after the meeting time was over. While returning, Sisodia looked emotional after meeting his ailing wife. Now Kejriwal has also shared its photo on social media.
The AAP leader lit lamps in his home on ‘Chhoti Diwali’ during his brief time with his wife. As per the court’s instructions, he did not talk to the media persons gathered outside his residence. After this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal shared a photo of Sisodia hugging his wife while leaving home to return to jail on social media platform X and wrote, “This picture is very painful.”
Kejriwal further wrote, “Is it right to do such injustice to the person who gave hope to the poor children of the country?”
Let us tell you that in June also, Delhi High Court had given permission to Sisodia to meet his wife Seema. He is suffering from multiple sclerosis. However, he could not meet her as she was admitted to the hospital after her condition suddenly deteriorated.
Once again the court, while allowing Sisodia to meet his wife, had ordered him not to talk to the media or participate in any political activity. The court had said that it is already on record that his wife is suffering from multiple sclerosis and it has been claimed that she has been suffering from it for the last 20 years. The court had given clear instructions that no political meeting or political speech would be given by Sisodia during the meeting.
