Justin Trudeau’s big attack on India, said – we do not want to fight but we have to follow the law
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has once again held India responsible for the bitterness in relations between the two countries. Trudeau said Canada has never made unlawful or fabricated allegations and continues to work constructively with India today. Trudeau has directly accused the Indian government of working by breaking the laws. He also said that his government does not want any war or bitterness in relations with India but wants to work together.
India had withdrawn the immunity given to 41 Canadian diplomats, after which recently they had to return to their country. For this, Justin Trudeau has again accused India of violating the Vienna Convention. “We are deeply disappointed that India violated the Vienna Convention and arbitrarily revoked the diplomatic immunity of 41 Canadian diplomats,” Trudeau said. Think about it from our perspective. If a country can decide that another country’s diplomats are no longer safe, it makes international relations more dangerous and more serious. Despite this, we have tried to work constructively and positively with India and will continue to do so. This is not the fight we want to have right now. We will always stand up clearly for the rule of law because that’s the Canadian way of doing things.
Then there was talk of investigation into Nijjar’s murder
On his allegations of India’s involvement in the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Nijjar, Trudeau said that when we came to know about the involvement of agents of the Indian government in the murder of a Canadian citizen. We have serious reasons to believe that agents of the Government of India may be involved in his murder. We reached India with this complaint and sought their cooperation to get to the bottom of this matter. We also contacted our friends and allies like the US.
Trudeau said, no positive response was received from India, this is disappointing. We all must act on this grave violation of international law and the sovereignty of democracy. We are taking this very seriously. We are working with all stakeholders and the investigating agencies will continue their work. Canada is a country that will always stand up for the rule of law because if big countries can violate international law without any consequences, the entire world becomes more dangerous for everyone.
