Uttarakhand / Haldwani: The shopkeeper was playing songs in a loud voice, when he refused to agree then the young man bit his finger and severed his finger.

When a young man interrupted the shopkeeper for playing a loud song, he bit the young man’s fingers with his teeth in anger. Didn’t leave until one finger got cut and fell on the ground. When a crowd gathered due to noise, the accused ran away. The police have filed an FIR and started investigating the case. Mahendra Singh, resident of Tulsi Nagar Polysheet Ward-5, told the police that Jairaj Khadka, resident of Kumaon Colony, Damuwadhunga, has an electrical shop in his neighbourhood. Often songs are played loudly in the shop. Songs were being played in the shop at 10 pm on 8th November. Tests were going on in his children’s school, so he was facing difficulty in concentrating on his studies. When he asked the shopkeeper to stop singing, he became the attacker.

One finger of the hand was cut off with his teeth. Seeing people coming, Jayraj ran away after threatening to kill him. SO Vimal Mishra said that an FIR has been registered against the accused under the sections of assault, threat, abusing and mutilation.

Relatives took the finger to the hospital

Mahendra says that due to the cut of his finger, he got bleeding and started groaning in pain. The relative picked up his severed finger from the ground and took him to the hospital. After treatment, he reached the police station to lodge a complaint. Told that there was a threat to life and property from the accused.
