Uttarakhand: The miscreants who committed robbery of Rs 15 crore in Reliance showroom were identified, the company supplying the goods is also under investigation

Five criminals had stayed in a hotel in Haridwar three days before the incident of robbery at Reliance Showroom on Rajpur Road. The police have got a lot of information about the miscreants from the hotel.

SSP Ajay Singh said that during investigation it was revealed that the miscreants had stayed in a hotel in Haridwar on November 6. The police have seized the identity cards and other documents of the miscreants, due to which the miscreants have been identified.

The SSP also said that the company supplying goods to the showroom has also come under the scanner in the incident. Two days before the incident, jewelery worth crores of rupees had reached the showroom for Dhanteras and Diwali, either the showroom staff or the company was aware of this. How this information reached the miscreants is also a matter of investigation. Therefore, the role of the company as well as the staff is also under doubt.

Team leaves for Maharashtra to interrogate mastermind Subodh

Subodh, the mastermind of the gang involved in many incidents of robbery, lodged in Bihar jail, has been taken on production warrant by Maharashtra Police, who has been brought to Latur. Maharashtra Police can get a lot of information about the criminal. A team has been sent to Maharashtra to interrogate the criminal.

Told that unsuccessful attempts were made in Katni in Madhya Pradesh and Latur in Maharashtra in incidents of robbery following the same pattern. On the basis of matching the profiles of the criminals who absconded in the incidents with those of the criminals who committed the incidents in Dehradun, the possibility of involvement of the same gang in all the incidents is being expressed.

The network extends to Bengal, Bihar and Nepal

Police investigation has also revealed that the network of miscreants extends to Bengal, Bihar and Nepal. The police team has received important CCTV footage from Dehradun and other states regarding the incident. Different teams have been sent to collect information. Based on the pattern of incidents that took place in the showroom and important evidence, the police team has received information that miscreants raided the showroom for several months before the incident. After this the incident took place. The miscreants were also aware of the arrival of a large quantity of goods in the Reliance showroom on November 7.

SSP held a meeting with police officers

Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Singh held a meeting with police officers at the SSP office on Saturday.
