Uttarakhand / Roorkee: There was a dispute between two girls, parrot became the reason, the matter reached the police station, police engaged in investigation

In Roorkee, there was a fight between two girls over a parrot. Within no time the matter escalated so much that both the girls reached the police station. Both the girls live in the same neighbourhood. It is being told that both the girls are asserting their rights on the parrot. The police have taken possession of the parrot and started investigating the matter.

Dispute between two girls over parrot
According to the information, Meenu, a resident of Paniyala village of Ganganahar Kotwali area, has kept a parrot. Another girl living in Meenu’s neighborhood reached Meenu’s house and started demanding the parrot back, claiming it to be her own.

There was a dispute between the two regarding this matter. Meenu told that this parrot was gifted to her by her brother-in-law about three months ago. Since then the parrot is with him.

The matter reached the police station
Meenu told that a few days ago the parrot had flown into the neighbours’ house. During this the neighbors caught him. But after four days he again flew to their house.

Meenu’s neighbor is also claiming this parrot as her own. There was a fierce dispute between the two girls regarding the parrot. The matter escalated so much that the neighboring girl filed a complaint with the police, claiming that the parrot was her own.

Police engaged in investigation
According to the information regarding the matter, Ganganahar Kotwali’s SSI Jahangir Ali said that both the girls were called to the police station and information about the matter was taken from them. At present the parrot has been captured. The case is being investigated.
