Two robots reached Uttarkashi
Two robots weighing 20 kg and 50 kg have reached Uttarkashi for the rescue of laborers trapped in the tunnel in Silkyara. NHIDCL Director Anshu Manish said that DRDO has sent two robots weighing 20 kg and 50 kg.
Concern about whether robots will be able to walk there or not
NHIDCL Director Anshu Manish says that robots walk on land. There is doubt whether they will be able to walk on the debris or not. Because the ground in the tunnel is acting like sand. Along with this, he said that the machinery being brought for rescue cannot be airlifted due to its heavy weight. Therefore, machinery is being brought by road. The machinery will reach Uttarkashi in one to two days.
