What is escape tunnel?, why did the company not build it in Uttarkashi?

Navyuga Company is constructing the tunnel in Uttarkashi. This double lane tunnel is being constructed since 2018 using the New Austrian Tunneling Method. Whenever a tunnel is constructed somewhere, an escape tunnel is made along with it. But escape tunnel was not built in Uttarkashi. Many questions are now being raised regarding this. Because if the escape tunnel had been constructed then there would not have been so much effort to evacuate the workers.

Escape tunnel was seen on paper but not built in reality
The surprising thing is that the design of the exit tunnel has been prepared properly on paper by the company. But this exit tunnel was not brought to the ground. The negligence of the company has come to light in building this tunnel. Due to the negligence of the company, today 41 laborers are trapped inside the tunnel for the last eight days. If the company had made an escape tunnel, the trapped workers could have easily come out today. Let us tell you that the tunnel being built in Uttarkashi is a double lane tunnel in which security arrangements should have been made mandatory.
