Worship method will be according to Ramanandiya sect
The method of worship in the Ram temple built in Ayodhya will also be different from the existing method. This will be according to the Ramanandiya sect. There will be special archakas for this puja. In the temporary temple located in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex, till now the worship method is done in the Panchopachar method (normal way) like other temples of Ayodhya. This includes offering food to the Lord, wearing new clothes, and then the usual worship and aarti. But all this will change after the consecration of Ram Lalla on 22 January 2024. After Pran Pratistha, this will be done as per Ramanandiya tradition. There will be a provision for the chief priest, assistant priest and servants to worship Ramlala in the Ramanandiya worship method. In this, many things of worship including the way of wearing clothes will be decided. Like Hanuman Chalisa, there will be a new pothi (book) to praise Ramlala. Which has been composed and is being finalized.
