Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Six bullies attacked Rahul on Chhath fast, condition critical, outpost in-charge accused of releasing the accused in custody, BMS demands action

At the end of Chhath Puja, yesterday at Prem Nagar Ghat, Rahul had tried to pacify some unruly boys by burning firecrackers in Prem Nagar, taking revenge of which, after the end of the puja, seven-eight boys attacked Rahul Sahni with iron rods and sticks. In which Bihari Mahasabha (BMS) member Rahul Sahni was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment in Doon Hospital.

Rahul’s condition is said to be serious. In this matter, a complaint was sent by Bihari Mahasabha to Kurkura outpost incharge, but due to the negligence of the outpost incharge, no concrete action has been taken till now or those miscreant boys have not been arrested.

The official of Bihar Mahasabha has conveyed the information about this incident to the higher officials and the police captain of the district. The police captain has assured the officials of the assembly that action will definitely be taken against the culprits. Senior officials of the assembly also met the Honorable Chief Minister and Home Secretary in this regard. Will do this and will demand immediate action against the culprit.

The official of the Maha Sabha has accused the lax attitude of the Khurbura outpost in-charge and not taking cognizance of the incident and has demanded action against the outpost in-charge Khurbura. In this regard, the Sabha will meet the police captain and present its views.
