In the 42nd India International Trade Fair-2023 organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, today (21 November) on the occasion of Uttarakhand Day celebrations, a cultural evening was organized in the theater of Pragati Maidan. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister of Uttarakhand Government Saurabh Bahuguna was present and inaugurated the Uttarakhand Pavilion and cultural evening program organized in the trade fair by lighting the lamp.
Addressing the Uttarakhand Day celebrations, Saurabh Bahuguna said that I am happy that the people of Devbhoomi have made the state proud in the country and abroad with their experience. He said that we should contribute and work together to realize the dream that the Prime Minister has seen for taking the state forward. Let us all come together and work to present the talent and potential of Uttarakhand state before the country and abroad. Saurabh Bahuguna, while discussing the Prime Minister’s call of ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘One Product One District’, said that our mother power and young comrades who have come from remote and inaccessible areas have shown their strength by setting up stalls.
Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna said that in the last two and a half years, the government has made policies regarding the products of Uttarakhand, linking mother power with employment in remote areas and doubling the income of farmers. Its benefits are visible on the ground under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Saurabh Bahuguna said that our migrant brothers and sisters of Uttarakhand are the brand ambassadors of the state and even after living outside Uttarakhand, you bring glory to the state and contribute. Referring to the Chardham Yatra, Saurabh Bahuguna said that this time a record 55 lakh people have visited Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham. Recently the Prime Minister had come to Pithoragarh and the way the whole world saw Narendra Modi doing Adi Kailash Yatra, after this the next grand yatra will be in Kumaon. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, we have been able to connect all the four Dhams through all-weather road and Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail network is almost 60 percent complete. When development reaches the people, people will live and work in their villages, this will prevent migration. Will be able to get rid of the problem.
