Uttarakhand: BJP President congratulated Lokparva Egas, wished for safe exit of workers trapped in Uttarkashi.

BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt has congratulated and congratulated the people of the state on the occasion of Lok Parv Igas. Along with this, he also wished for the safe passage of the workers trapped in the tunnel on this auspicious occasion and to celebrate Diwali with the people of Devbhuni. Like every year, the BJP President will celebrate the Egas festival in a traditional manner in his native village Brahmin Thala.

Bhatt said in his message that Igas festival deepens the connection of the new generation with Uttarakhandi folk culture. This folk festival connects us to our roots, hence we should be proud of our heritage and culture. People celebrating these festivals collectively teaches us that big goals can be achieved through public participation. He appealed that we all should come together to celebrate Igas on a larger scale so that the future generation also gets the opportunity to know and understand the glorious culture of Devbhoomi.

Referring to the Silkyara accident, Bhatt said that unfortunately on the day of Diwali, 41 of our labor brothers were trapped in the tunnel and utmost efforts are being made to rescue them safely. He expressed hope that with the success being achieved in the rescue operation, they are expected to come out safely soon. He prayed to God to celebrate Diwali with these labor brothers on Egas.

He informed that like every year, this time too he will celebrate the Egas festival in a traditional way in the Brahmin Thala of his native village Chamoli.
