Uttarakhand: CM Dhami visits Pantnagar, inaugurates General Vipin Rawat hostel

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Pantnagar today. During this, CM Dhami inaugurated the hostel built in the name of General Vipin Rawat. After which CM Dhami addressed the students. CM Dhami also gave a statement on Uttarkashi Silkyara Tunnel accident. CM Dhami said that soon all the laborers trapped in the tunnel will be taken out safely.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who reached Agricultural University, Pantnagar, inaugurated the hostel in the name of General Vipin Rawat built in the university. After which he addressed the students. He said that he has the privilege of inaugurating the General Vipin Rawat Hostel. During this, he recalled the memories of General Vipin Rawat and shared some memories with the children. He said that the university has made a special contribution in the matter of food grain production in the country. Earlier India used to import food grains. Today India exports food grains, behind which is the hard work of scientists.

CM Dhami said that the state has achieved success in the field of organic agriculture. CM Dhami said that Pantnagar University is working to promote traditional agriculture. He said that the government has made a provision of Rs 36 crore to promote apple horticulture. A target has been set to build 50 thousand polyhouses. New plants have been set up for processing intensive crops. He said that Mint Valley will be built in Udham Singh Nagar. Cinnamon, Timur mission will be started soon. This will increase the source of employment and income for the people of the hilly areas. Speaking on Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue Operation, he said that soon all the workers will be evacuated.
