It is being told that since Tuesday night, drilling work was being done continuously with American Auger machine. Drilling work has been stopped due to light debris falling from the tunnel on Wednesday. The ninth pipe was just being laid in the tunnel. But drilling has been stopped for some time.
First aid preparations intensified
Preparations for first aid to workers have intensified. A temporary hospital has been built here. In which eight beds have been installed. A helipad has been built about four kilometers away from the incident site. From where the workers can be airlifted to AIIMS. Apart from this, 45 beds have also been reserved separately in Uttarkashi District Hospital.
