Uttarakhand: Rescue operation reaches final stage, CM Dhami leaves for Silkyara

Today is the 11th day for the workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. But today a ray of hope is visible. The drilling work in the tunnel has now reached the final stage. CM Dhami has also left for Silkyara from Dehradun for the incident site.

Nodal officer of the campaign, Neeraj Khairwal told the media that drilling up to about 45 meters has been completed with the auger machine. Now only a few meters of drilling is left. It is expected that the pipe will pass through the tunnel in the next two hours.

CM Dhami left for Silkyara
It is being told that preparations are being made to take out all the laborers and take them directly to Chinyalisaur. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also meet the workers there. Let us tell you that CM Dhami has also left for Uttarkashi. After some time the CM will also reach the spot.

First aid preparations intensified
Preparations for first aid to workers have also intensified. A temporary hospital has been built outside the tunnel. In which eight beds have been installed. Apart from this, ambulance is also deployed. At the same time, 45 beds have been reserved separately in Uttarkashi District Hospital.
