According to the report, 40-year-old actress Polina Menshikh used to work in Russian theatre. A music concert was organized on the occasion of the Annual Day function of Russia’s Missile and Artillery Forces. The actress was performing in it. At this time Ukraine carried out air strikes. Some Russian sailors including the actress also died in the attack. At least 100 people were injured in this attack in the concert hall. However, the total number of people killed in this attack has not been confirmed yet.
In the clip going viral on social media, Polina Menshikh can be seen playing the guitar and singing a song for Russian soldiers. During this time suddenly there is a loud noise and there is a black out. The Russian Investigative Committee has announced a criminal investigation into the attack.
Ukraine said revenge
Ukraine has termed this attack as revenge. Ukraine acknowledged that the attack was in retaliation for a devastating Russian attack on an awards ceremony in Ukraine earlier this month. Ukrainian air commander Robert Brovdy said Kiev’s forces attacked the 810th Separate Brigade of Russian Marines in ‘revenge for the 128th Brigade’.
