Wife complains about husband on suspicion of terrorist activities, NIA raids

NIA (National Investigation Agency) team raided the house of a young man on suspicion of terrorist activities. The young man was not found at home. The team took information about him from his relatives. Earlier the team had reached Haridwar. The team has been camping in Haridwar for two days. Police officials have confirmed the raid by the NIA team, but no police officer is ready to tell anything more than this.
According to sources, a young man resident of a locality of Roorkee Civil Lines Kotwali area was married to a girl resident of Saharanpur area of Uttar Pradesh a year ago. The couple started having disputes shortly after the marriage. Due to this dispute, the woman had come to her maternal home. After this, a case was also filed against the youth in Saharanpur by the girl’s side.
Was accused of involvement in terrorist activities
Some time ago, the girl’s side had complained to the Central officials that the young man was involved in terrorist activities and also had relations with wrong people. The NIA team had got the investigation of this case. The NIA team reached Haridwar on Tuesday to investigate the case. Here, senior police officials were informed about the matter.
NIA team raided
NIA team reached Roorkee on Wednesday. The team along with the local intelligence department raided the youth’s house, but the youth was not found at home. The team had interrogated his relatives for a long time in this matter. After this, the team reached Civil Lines police station and investigated the criminal history of the youth. NIA team is camping in Roorkee till night. Local police officers are avoiding saying anything in this matter.
