Bihar / Bhagalpur: Son-in-law fell at mother-in-law’s feet on the road, said- ‘Send your wife or you can come along’

A very strange drama was seen on Kachari Road in Bhagalpur, Bihar on Thursday. Here a young man touched the feet of a woman and said that either you send my wife to my house or you yourself come to my house with me. A huge crowd gathered on the road to watch this high voltage drama. On enquiry, it came to light that there was a relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law. On Thursday, mother-in-law and son-in-law clashed with each other at Kachari Chowk in Bhagalpur.

Son-in-law was adamant on taking mother-in-law home

While demanding his wife’s return home, the son-in-law insisted on taking his mother-in-law home. Actually, Kavita Devi, a resident of Peerpainti, Bhagalpur, was married to Pankaj Das, a resident of Nathnagar, 10 years ago. After marriage, a series of fights and arguments started between them. Both of them started living separately for the last 6 months. The girl’s mother Manki Devi accused her son-in-law Pankaj Das and said that since marriage he has been beating her daughter for dowry.

‘The girl’s mother does not allow my wife to come to her in-laws’ house

The mother-in-law alleged that the son-in-law says that he will not take her to his house until she gives dowry. Whereas husband Pankaj Das says that the girl’s mother does not allow his wife to come to her in-laws’ house. I also have two children. Her mother-in-law doesn’t even let her talk to him.
