The date of WPL Auction 2024 has arrived, players will be bid on this day; 29 players have been released
Women’s IPL 2023 (WPL 2023) is ready for the next season after a great start. BCCI had asked for the list of retained and released players from all the five franchises, which the franchises have submitted. Now the Women Premier League auction will be held on 9th December.
BCCI has released an update regarding the Women’s Premier League auction. The auction for the second season of the Women’s Premier League will be held in Mumbai on December 9. Players will be auctioned here. Smriti Mandhana was the most expensive player in the first season. He was bought by Royal Challenger Bangalore. Ashley Gardner of Gujarat Giants was at second place.
Franchises released the list of retained and released players
Let us tell you that all the five franchises released the list of their retained and released players on October 15. In this, 60 players, including 21 foreign cricketers, have been retained in the five franchises, while 29 players were released from their existing teams.
