Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Man murdered by slitting his throat near Bhandari Bagh flyover, wife’s soul trembled after seeing her husband’s condition
A person was murdered by slitting his throat near the under-construction Bhandari Bagh flyover. SHO Rajesh Sah said that the person has been identified as Shambhu, aged about 39 years. The throat was slit with a sharp weapon. Police is busy investigating.
Shambhu used to work as a dyer. He came home at five o’clock on Sunday evening. After this, when the call came at six o’clock, he went out. After 15 minutes the wife called and there was a ring and then the phone got switched off. Shambhu did not return home throughout the night.
On Monday morning, when some people informed about a dead body lying on the railway track, Shambhu’s wife Nirmala also went there. She saw that the body was that of her husband. His throat was slit. There was a knife lying nearby. The throat was cut so deeply that even the chicken rice eaten at night was visible in the alimentary canal.
