Entered saying ‘we are not afraid’, saved 41 laborers: Rat miners

Rat miners of Bravery Land Jhansi showed such amazing feat with their hands in Uttarakhand, after which 41 lives trapped in the tunnel were able to come out safely. Rat miners who came from Jhansi to rescue the workers trapped in the tunnel of Uttarakhand said that this is a daily work for us. When the Rat Miners of Jhansi took the campaign forward, after 17 days the entire country got the biggest happiness.

The brave rat miners of Jhansi who reached Uttarkashi from Jhansi showed amazing confidence. Whatever the rat miners said in front of the senior officials present outside the tunnel increased everyone’s courage. Everyone said I am not afraid of going into the tunnel. Here there is a pipe of 800 mm, we even enter into the pipe of 600 mm and do rat mining. This is a daily job. Parsadi Lodhi, a resident of Jhansi, said this while rescuing workers trapped in a tunnel in Uttarakhand.

This confidence of Parsadi proved to be correct, because in just 26 hours his team dug about 12 to 13 meters by hand. Now the workers trapped in Silkyara-Dandalgaon Tunnel of Uttarakhand for 17 days have come out safely. There was a distance of 60 meters between the workers and the rescue team. Let us tell you that drilling started with the American auger machine on November 21, but on the morning of November 25, the machine failed at about 47 meters. Rat miners were given the responsibility of further excavation. For this a team of rat miners was called to Silkyara. This team proved to be the real heroes of the rescue operation, because vertical drilling was not only dangerous but was also considered slow.

Rat miner Parsadi Lodhi said that he has been doing rat hole mining for the last 10-12 years. I work in Delhi and Ahmedabad. I did the work of evacuating people trapped in the tunnel for the first time. I am not afraid, this is my daily work. Let us tell you that Parsadi Lodhi had entered the tunnel on the morning of 28 November. Parsadi told that we have brought a hand driller machine named Hilti. After entering the 800 mm pipe, we were first drilling with a hand driller and then taking out the debris. There was no problem in doing this work.
