Delhi: Kejriwal’s arrest! AAP started advance preparations; Are you gathering public opinion regarding resignation?

Aam Aadmi Party has started advance preparations for the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. In fact, AAP leader Gopal Rai said on Thursday that his party will run a signature campaign between December 1 and 20. Under this, AAP will take the reaction of the people of Delhi as to whether Kejriwal should resign from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi if he is arrested under the “conspiracy of BJP”.

Campaign will run at all polling stations in Delhi

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had hatched a conspiracy to arrest Kejriwal in a “fake” liquor scam case in the hope of eliminating AAP. Rai was addressing a press conference along with party MP Raghav Chadha. Rai said that under the “Main Bhi Kejriwal” campaign from Friday, party volunteers will visit all 2,600 polling stations in Delhi and collect people’s signatures to ask their opinion on whether Kejriwal should be made the chief minister if he is arrested. Should leave his post.

“Kejriwal should run the government from jail itself”

Minister Gopal Rai said that Kejriwal had met party MLAs and councilors to seek their opinion on the issue and there was consensus that he should not resign and should run the government from jail. Rai said the party will organize public meetings in every ward of the city between December 21 and December 24, in which people will be discussed about the alleged liquor scam as well as the BJP’s conspiracy to arrest Kejriwal. He said that people’s opinion will also be taken as to whether Kejriwal should resign from the post of Chief Minister if he is arrested.

Kejriwal did not appear before ED

It is noteworthy that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had earlier this month called Kejriwal for questioning in a money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. Kejriwal did not appear before the investigating agency and demanded that it should withdraw its notice. He had claimed that this was an “illegal and politically motivated” move.
