The company will give Rs 2 lakh each to the laborers trapped in the tunnel, two months bonus to the employees engaged in rescue
The company constructing the Silkyara Tunnel has also announced to give Rs 2 lakh each to all the stranded labourers. At the same time, all the officers and employees engaged in the rescue operation will be given a salary bonus of two months. Safety manager Rahul Pratap Tiwari and senior engineer Pradeep Negi, who worked in the tunnel, said that the MD of Navyug company remained in the tunnel during the operation. Work is going on at two other places in the RVNL project, the officials there were also continuously engaged in the rescue operation. He told that after the success of the campaign, now the company has announced to give relief amount of Rs 2 lakh to all 41 laborers.
Whereas all the employees engaged in the rescue team will get two months’ salary as bonus. After the completion of the operation, the company has declared a three-day holiday for everyone. Whereas the workers trapped in the tunnel will get paid leave of up to two months.
