Uttarakhand: Bhatt said – Best rehabilitation package has been implemented in Joshimath, we will also change the picture of the city
Welcoming the approval of Joshimath reconstruction plan by the Centre, BJP has assured to make Joshimath safe and beautiful. State President Shri Mahendra Bhatt said, we have implemented the best rehabilitation package for Joshimath and we are going to change the picture of Joshimath with the help of the Centre.
On behalf of all the people of the state, Bhatt has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for sanctioning Rs 1658.17 crore for the rehabilitation of Joshimath city. He said, during the month of January this year, due to cracks in the ground, an atmosphere of fear had been created regarding the existence of the city. He said, it was the result of the Dhami government’s awareness and seriousness that even after such a huge disaster, we did not allow any human life to be lost. At the same time, we all were also concerned about removing the crisis that this disaster has caused to the homes and livelihood of hundreds of people and making the city safe and beautiful again. For which the state government provided the best rehabilitation package ever to the victims and sent a proposal for an economic package to the Centre. On this entire issue, the PM had constituted a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah. It is a matter of happiness for everyone that such a huge amount of money has been approved for the recovery and reconstruction plan for disaster-hit Joshimath.
He assured that the BJP government is committed to bring the same glow on the faces of the people of Joshimath. The state government, with the help of the central government, will make the city safer and tourism friendly than before. The courage and alertness with which the local residents have so far supported the administration in dealing with this entire disaster, it is expected that this trend will continue in the implementation of these reconstruction plans.
