CJI Chandrachud arrived in Dehradun to participate in the program, said- unity in diversity of India has special importance
Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud reached Jolly Grant Airport from Delhi this morning, from where he left for FRI. After which he participated in the Justice KC Dhulia Memorial Lecture and the award ceremony of the essay and debate competition organized by Karmabhoomi Foundation at Dehradun Forest Research Institute.
CJI DY Chandrachud expressed his views about India
During the award ceremony, Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud expressed his views about the characteristics that make India different from other nations. Also said that India is a fortunate country and the people living here are equally fortunate. Describing the Constitution of India as a sacred book, the Chief Justice said that unity in diversity of India has special importance and the language and people here make the country different from other nations.
CJI DY Chandrachud left for Delhi at 4 pm
The police department had also made tight security arrangements for the arrival of the Chief Justice. Regarding his program, all the arrangements related to the protocol of the Chief Justice were also consolidated. As per the schedule, the Chief Justice reached Dehradun at around 8:30 in the morning. After this, he participated in the program organized at the Forest Research Institute at around 9:30 pm, while after that he left back for Delhi at around 4:00 pm.
