Meteorological Department issues red alert, there will be heavy rain in this state on 3 and 4 December

The Indian Meteorological Department has given a big update regarding the cyclone Michong forming in the Bay of Bengal and South Andaman Sea. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert due to the strengthening of the storm. Leaving Chennai, Cyclone Michong is likely to hit Nellore and Machilipatnam on Tuesday with a severe storm with a speed of 100 km per hour.

Puducherry government gave leave
Issuing an alert, the Puducherry government has announced holiday in colleges in Puducherry, Karaikal and Yanam. Along with this, other states have also been warned to be ready with their teams.

118 trains canceled from 3rd to 6th December
Southern Railway has canceled 118 trains in Tamil Nadu from December 3 to 6. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from 3 to 4 December. Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Odisha are likely to receive heavy rains till December 6.

Orange alert issued for fishermen
The meteorological department has issued an orange alert to fishermen in south-west Bay of Bengal, northern Tamil Nadu till December 4.
