Recognition of 199 schools infamous for cheating in UP will be cancelled, board sent list to DIOS

Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) is in action before UP Board 10th-12th examination 2024. The board is taking many necessary steps to conduct the 2024 examination without cheating and without any irregularities. After first debarring 253 schools from 43 districts, the UP Board is now preparing to cancel the recognition of 199 schools. The list of schools has been sent to DIOS.

What is the reason for cancellation of recognition of 199 schools?
In fact, the Board has prepared a list of 199 schools by identifying those schools where cases of serious irregularities or mass cheating were found during the UP Board exams. Apart from this, they are accused of cheating in other examinations or facing other serious charges. In most of these schools, the action of withdrawal of recognition is pending from the Joint Director of Education to the government level.

Recognition of schools in these districts will be canceled
Among the 199 schools for which de-recognition process is underway, 16 schools in Ghazipur, Ballia and 12 schools each in Mau and eight schools in Lucknow are included. Apart from this, four schools of Prayagraj are included, in which the names of New Children Public School Sindhi Tola Shankargarh, Bachai Singh Singaur Inter College Chandrasenpur, UD Memorial Inter College Asaravekala and Pancham Lal Ashram Inter College Ghiyasuddin Pur Transport Nagar are included in the list. UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla has sent the list of these schools to all the district school inspectors through the additional secretaries of Prayagraj, Meerut, Varanasi, Bareilly and Gorakhpur regional offices.

Final list of UP board exam centers soon
It is expected that between 10th and 15th December, UP Board may release the final list of examination centres. But now all these 199 schools will not be allowed to become centers of high school and intermediate examinations to be held in 2024.

When will UP Board Exam 2024 be held?
Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has announced the dates of practical examination for class 12. UP Board 12th practical examination for 2024 will be conducted in two phases, the first phase will be conducted from 25 January to 1 February and the second phase will be conducted from 2 February to 9 February 2024. After this, UP Board theory exams can start from February 2024 itself. The 10th and 12th board exam time table (UP Board Exam 2024 Time Table) will be released on its official website upmsp.edu.in well before the start of the board exams.

More than 55 lakh students will give UP board exam
This time more than 55 lakh students have registered for the high school and intermediate board exams. Of these, 29 lakh 54 thousand 034 students have applied online for 10th board exam and 25 lakh 49 thousand 827 students have applied online for 12th board exam.
