Regarding preparations for “Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit-2023”, CM Dhami took feedback from shopkeepers about the ongoing work
As soon as Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami returned from New Delhi, he inspected the FRI road construction works and beautification works from Jolly Grant. Regarding the preparations for the state level Global Investors Summit ‘Destination Uttarakhand’ to be organized at FRI, Dehradun on 08 and 09 December, the Chief Minister also inspected the venue.
Chief Minister F.R.I. During the inspection of the venue, officials were instructed to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made before the event. The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited to inaugurate the state level Global Investors Summit. He directed that to make this event grand, all the concerned departments should complete all the preparations on time at their level. The Chief Minister said that this summit is very important for the state. Agreements worth approximately Rs 2.5 lakh crore have been signed in various road shows organized so far. The process of grounding the agreements is progressing rapidly. The Chief Minister said that the investment proposals which have high employment potential are being given top priority by the state government. Continuous efforts are being made by the state government to ensure that the youth of the state get maximum employment opportunities in the state.
While inspecting the road and beautification works from Jolly Grant to FRI, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also took feedback of the works from local people and shopkeepers. Local people and shopkeepers also expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the fast pace of road construction work and better beautification work. During this, the Chief Minister also met the workers engaged in beautification work and encouraged them. During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the officials that the remaining works should also be completed soon.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he is getting full guidance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Global Investors Summit ‘Destination Uttarakhand’. Taking inspiration from his Vibrant Gujarat, Destination Uttarakhand is being promoted in the state. With these investors, investment in the state will increase, the economy of the state will increase and employment opportunities will increase for the youth of the state.
On this occasion, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Secretary and Commissioner Garhwal Vinay Shankar Pandey, District Magistrate Dehradun Mrs. Sonika, Vice President MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari, S.S.P. Dehradun Ajay Singh, officials of the district administration and officials of the concerned executing agencies were present.
