SP will give Rs 1 lakh each to rat miners who saved 41 lives, made this demand to BJP

17 days after the Uttarkashi Tunnel accident, 41 laborers were evacuated safely. Samajwadi Party has announced to provide financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh each to those who saved the lives of laborers (rat miners). Along with this, Samajwadi Party said that BJP’s central and state governments should provide assistance of Rs 10 lakh each to the courageous miners. Earlier, the Uttarakhand government had announced to give Rs 50,000 each to those who saved the lives of laborers (rat miners).
Along with this, on Wednesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had met 41 workers at Chinyalisaur Health Center in Uttarkashi. He had said, I have met all of them. He is healthy and happy. Medical examination has been done. Nobody has any problem. He will be sent to AIIMS, Rishikesh today for further medical examination.
‘Baukhnag temple will be rebuilt’
CM had said that as promised, these laborers will be given checks of Rs 1 lakh each. Apart from this, the rescue workers who went inside the tunnel for digging will be given a reward of Rs 50,000 each by the state government. Also, the Baukhnag temple at the mouth of the temple will be rebuilt and the tunnels under construction in the state will be reviewed. CM Dhami had said, the Central Government has decided to conduct a safety audit of the tunnels under construction. The American auger machine used in the rescue operation repeatedly crossed the obstacles. He thanked the Rat Miners for completing the mission.
‘Just like someone is thirsty in the desert and he…’
Earlier, rat miner lawyer Hasan had told that we had inserted the pipe 18 meters inside the tunnel. Although we had to lay the pipe for 15 meters, but when this pipe did not come out on the other side, we removed three more meters of debris and inserted the pipe. Munna and I are partners in our team. The remaining 10 other boys are workers.
It was told that work has to be done lying down while entering inside the pipe. Act like rats. They cut the soil in front and throw it backwards. We keep moving forward in this manner. When I met the workers inside the tunnel for the first time, their reaction was very emotional. Like someone is thirsty in the desert and he gets something to drink. Exactly the same thing happened for us also. We are happy to have accomplished our objective.
