Uttarakhand: The search for violent leopards that have become a terror continues, the forest department is working hard
Recently, a leopard had made a youth its victim in Kakdighat area of Ranikhet. Even after 22 days, the search for the predatory leopard which has become synonymous with terror continues. The forest department is patrolling to catch the leopard. But the leopard has not yet been captured by the forest department.
Leopard has made the young man its victim
It is noteworthy that on November 12, a leopard had made a young man its victim on the Kakdighat-Shitlakhet walking route. Since then the leopard has remained active in the area. Because of which the villagers are in panic. The Forest Department team has installed more than three trap cameras in the area. Apart from this, a cage has also been installed in the area on Friday.
Search for leopard continues
According to the information, Ranger Mohan Ram Arya said that the Forest Department team is continuously patrolling for the safety of the people and to detect the activity of the leopard. At present, no leopard activity has been recorded in the trap cameras installed in the area.
