CPM leader MV Govindan, who is part of this alliance, has raised questions on Rahul Gandhi contesting elections from Wayanad. He said that there is no BJP in Kerala. Rahul Gandhi should contest elections against BJP and not against LDF.

The CPA leader said that any person with common sense would understand that Rahul Gandhi should not contest the next elections from Wayanad. This will weaken the hold of the Congress party in the Hindi belt. He said that if Rahul Gandhi contests elections from Kerala, it will indicate that Rahul wants to contest elections not against BJP but against the left parties. Many parties attacked Congress
