Once again the pollution level is seen increasing in Delhi-NCR. Efforts being made to bring reforms in Delhi, which has been a gas chamber for months, seem to be failing.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, till the morning of December 5, the overall AQI of Delhi has been recorded at 380, which falls in the severe category. Last Monday morning, AQI in Delhi was 310, after which a significant increase has been seen.

AQI has crossed 300 in many areas of Delhi. AQI 341 has been recorded in Anand Vihar, 316 on AIIMS, 344 in Dwarka Sector 8, 236 in Lodhi Road, 327 in Jahangirpuri, 316 in Rohini and AQI 320 has been recorded in Wazirpur.
What is AQI?
Let us tell you that AQI between 0.5 and 50 is considered good, between 51 and 100 is satisfactory, and between 101 and 200 is moderate. A score between 201 and 300 is considered bad, a score between 301 and 400 is considered very poor, and a score between 401 and 500 is considered severe. According to these standards, the AQI level of an area is divided and the standards are taken into account.
